Overview

Many parks in East Africa enable a fair range of game drive throughout the year regardless of the season. However, the Tarangire national park is considered a seasonal park. Being so close to equator Tanzania does not experience the same 'four seasons'. Tanzania experience broadly 2 seasons one is dry season and the other one is the wet season.

Dry Season:


From June to December the season is counted as the dry season of Tanzania and considered the best season for game view. The season is best to watch the migrating animals and elephant mud baths.

Wet Season:


November- December, and March to May are considered the wet season. The wet season offers less game viewing but if you are someone looking for cheaper accommodation and less crowd wet season can be a good choice for you.
