Overview

Tanzania is a big African country that overlooks the Indian Ocean has a pleasant, tropical climate. The country lies just south of the Equator. The country has large regional climatic variations influenced by several factors, including altitude. The hottest and most humid part of the country is on the coast, the mountains are is the most chilling zones of the country, and plateau has a subtropical or tropical climate, not too hot because of altitude.
The coastal area is quite hot and humid from November to April.
June to October is the dry season when it is very little or almost no rainfall and the humidity is very low.
In the dry seasons, afternoons mostly have 20°C to 30°C temperature, the sky remains clear and days are mostly sunny.
The nights at the dry season become chillier.
The months between June to October are the least humid months and the most pleasant time of the year to visit the coastal areas.
November to February is the short rainy season, while there is a short rain across the country. The rains fall is mild so doesn’t create a big fence in safari tour.
March to May is the wet season when heavy rainfalls pour all around the country and make the national parks almost inaccessible.
