To the west lie the Ikorongo and Grumeti Game Reserves.The park holds a good variety of wildlife like blue wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, and buffalo inhabit the region, along with lions, spotted hyenas, and many more.Serengeti is widely famous for the great wildebeest migration that begins in December in the Ngorongoro area of the southern Serengeti of Tanzania, which is a huge tourist attraction.
