Overview

It’s suggested to go for a health check-up minimum 3 months prior to your trip to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Like all other national parks, the Ngorongoro area is quite safe however; the only threats in the area are the mosquitoes.

 Health tips:



  • A yellow fever card is recommended to show as a proof of immunization wile entering Tanzania.

  • As the conservation area has a malaria threat, prophylaxis is recommended.

  • Keep the misquote replant in your travel kit and apply on the exposed skin while visiting the Ngorongoro Conservation.

  • If you have any specific medicine that you are taking bring stocks as it might not be available in Tanzania.

  • Tap water isn’t safe to drink, hence use bottled water for drinking purposes.
