Mikumi can be best reached from Dar Es Salaam, just like other safari destinations in southern circuit. It can be reached both by road and airplane. It is about 280 kms from the city of Dar

Roadways :


Tourists can reach Mikumi from Dar by driving down the highway which also connects to other parks in southern circuit. The drive time is around 4-5 hours.

Airways :


Tourists are required to fly into Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar and then take charter flights to Mikumi.
