See our reviewsIf you plan to climb Kilimanjaro, you will need a Tanzanian visa to enter the country. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your entry date and have at least one blank page for official stamps.
Tanzania allows visa-free travel for up to three months for citizens of certain African and Commonwealth countries. If you are not from a visa-exempt country, it is recommended to obtain a visa in advance. However, visas can also be issued upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
A Tanzanian tourist visa is available as a single-entry (valid for three months) or multiple-entry (valid for six to twelve months) option.
