It can be climbed most anytime of the year however the dry season is most popular with spetember being the prime month to receive most crowds
3. How many routes the mountains offer?
There are 7 iconic routes provided by the mountain namely Lemosho Route, Machame Route, Marangu Route,Rongai Route, Shira Route, Northern Circuit Route, and Umbwe Route.
4. How did you train for this climb?
The mountain doesn’t need any mountaineering skill, but it undoubtedly need some training like running, light weight and aerobic conditioning.
5. What kind of cloths need to pack for the trekking?
Layers of cloth is recommended including sports underwear, short sleeve & long sleeve shirts, hiking trousers, mid-weight fleece jacket, Fleeces jacket that use Polartec materials to protect from rain.
6. Do I have to be extremely fit to take part in this trek?
No. you don’t need any prior climbing skill or need to be very athletic for the trekking. Anyone who enjoys trek and have normal physique can try the trekking.

8. What are the accommodation options?
The Marangu route provides hut facility to sleep at night where all other routes provide camping option.

The Uhuru peak is the highest altitude is 5895m.
