See our reviewsGombe National Park is an excellent chimpanzee safari destination in western Tanzania that provides an excellent view of chimpanzees for much of the year, but the wet season makes it hard to access the park. The wet season that continues from November to April cause a lot of problem due to rain, the access to the park became difficult and the roads became slippery. Most of the accommodations get shut down in the wet season.
The end of the dry season that is from July to October is considered as the excellent season as there is plenty of sunshine and the chimps stay on the lower slopes which makes it easy to spot them.
