Most of the accommodation of the town lies on the road leading to the National Park from Arusha. There are good options to arrive in Arusha town and the most recommended one is to fly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) which is located approximately 46 kilometers from Arusha.
Tourists also can fly to Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR), found close to the capital city Dar es Salaam and then fly to Arusha Airport (ARK) using the domestic flights.
If you are looking for a cheaper option you can take cheap flights into Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) situated on the outskirts of Kenya’s capital city Nairobi. From there you can take a shuttle bus to the town of Arusha.
